Faith • Civilization • Theology welcomes original Christian writing from thoughtful guest contributors.

We are interested in clear, Christ-centred, biblically grounded articles that help readers understand Scripture, theology, church history, discipleship, Christian culture, and the public witness of the church.

What We Do Not Accept

We do not accept:

  • previously published articles

  • articles under consideration elsewhere

  • plagiarism

  • promotional sales copy

  • political party propaganda

  • conspiracy theories

  • personal attacks

  • defamatory material

  • unverified claims

  • AI-generated articles submitted without substantial original authorship, review, and responsibility

  • sermons copied directly from preaching notes

  • poetry or fiction unless specifically invited

Length

Articles should normally be between 800 and 2,000 words.

Longer scholarly essays may be considered when the subject requires fuller treatment.

Writing Style

Submissions should be:

  • biblically faithful

  • Christ-centred

  • clear and engaging

  • respectful in tone

  • accessible to general Christian readers

  • historically and theologically careful

  • original and well-organised

Use clear headings where helpful.

Avoid unnecessary jargon, excessive quotation, and repetitive argument.

Scripture

Please identify the Bible translation used.

Where no translation is stated, NKJV is preferred.

References

Academic articles should include reliable sources.

Use footnotes, endnotes, or a reference list where needed.

All quotations, statistics, and factual claims must be properly attributed.

What to Submit

Please include:

  • article title

  • full article in Microsoft Word format

  • short author biography of 80–120 words

  • author photo

  • website or Substack link

  • relevant social media links

  • confirmation that the article is original and unpublished

  • confirmation that it is not under consideration elsewhere

Editorial Process

All submissions are reviewed for:

  • biblical faithfulness

  • originality

  • clarity

  • relevance

  • theological quality

  • suitability for our readers

Submission does not guarantee publication.

We may edit accepted articles for grammar, clarity, length, style, and formatting. We will discuss major changes with the author.

Rights

Authors retain copyright to their work.

By submitting an article, the author grants Faith • Civilization • Theology first publication rights and permission to display and archive the article on its website.

Authors should not republish the identical article elsewhere for at least three months after publication without permission.

After that period, republication is allowed with this acknowledgement:

Originally published by Faith • Civilization • Theology.

Payment

Guest contributions are voluntary.

At this time, we do not offer payment for guest articles.

Our purpose is to serve the church, encourage thoughtful Christian writing, and help faithful voices reach a wider audience.
