Start Here: Welcome to the Seven Churches Project
Exploring Christian History, Theology, Faith, Civilization, and the Enduring Message of Revelation
Welcome.
My name is Dr. Daniel J. Grace, an Australian journalist, author, theologian, and independent researcher. I am a member of the Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance (MEAA) and the publisher of this Substack.
This publication is dedicated to exploring Christian history, theology, faith, culture, archaeology, and the enduring relevance of the Seven Churches of Revelation.
While many readers approach Revelation primarily as a book of prophecy, I believe the messages to the Seven Churches contain timeless lessons about faithfulness, courage, compromise, perseverance, discipleship, leadership, culture, and Christian living.
Nearly two thousand years after they were written, the messages to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea continue to speak powerfully to the modern world.
Why I Started This Project
The Seven Churches are among the most important yet often overlooked sections of the New Testament.
Many people know their names but know little about their history, geography, culture, or significance.
This project seeks to bridge that gap.
Through articles, research essays, historical studies, and reflections, I aim to connect:
Biblical faith and modern life
Christian history and contemporary culture
Archaeology and Scripture
Theology and practical discipleship
Ancient wisdom and modern challenges
My goal is not simply to explain ancient history but to demonstrate why these messages remain deeply relevant today.
